The ABSL Hungary Board is pleased to invite you to our upcoming Legal Webinar vol. 2 (via Zoom) on the 15th of November from 9 AM with Dr. Gábor T. Fodor about the transposition of two EU directives that are expected to be a major labour-related administrative task.
The directives will be formally transposed into Hungarian law, so this time our legal expert is going to present you with the changes, detailed rules, and newly added administrative tasks.

In the context of Directive 2019/1152 on transparent and predictable working conditions in the European Union, attention should be drawn to the more detailed content of the information that is to be provided by the employer. In addition, the content of the information to be provided in the case of employment abroad will be significantly extended. The deadline for providing the information will also be shortened.
The probationary period and the conditions for the establishment of additional employment will also be changed and the rules on mandatory training will be clarified.
The rules on termination of employment will be a little more strict.
And for parents and carers, Directive 2019/1158 on work-life balance will extend the scope of childcare-related absences.
The new provisions will be more family-friendly, but from the employer’s point of view, they will mean more burdens.
